I've been meaning to call you and leave you a long, lovely voicemail, but then I sat in a brook with my cell phone in my pocket and now it's a gonner. SO, I'm writing to you here and I'll promise to be in better touch as you get closer and closer to me! I'm not sure if it will be possible for me to take time off work, or exactly when you'll arrive, but I hope I can still see you for at least one day!
I suppose I should have just waited and sent it here from the start. I just got really excited and couldn't help myself.
